What is Muslim (Islamic) “abrogation”?

Ninety-percent of Americans won’t know what abrogation means, but the more complex a word and unfamiliar, the more complicated the meaning.

Abrogation means that additional rulings to the law negate previous versions of the law. For example, Route 101 was at one time 65 MPH limit, but since it is now more heavily traveled, the law now reads 45. But the problem in religion is that once you start changing the law you never really know what it is; Islam can add a new regulation and you not know it, or change an old law back.

In practice Muslims were once peaceable, but with subsequent rulings on Jihad and killing all unconverted unbelievers are in danger of death. That’s all of us in America and everywhere else as well.

At one time there were no child marriages for Islamic men, but now it is more common.

So if you read the Koran you don’t get the full picture. There are many other writings which post-date that book. Furthermore, anything Mohammed did is also something believers can imitate.

This should help explain why the religion has become increasingly violent.

Christianity and Judaism have no abrogation principle. What the Law of God says remains in effect. “I am the Lord, I change not” it says in Malachi 3:6. And “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Hebrews 13:3

One the news we learn that some ministers say that Islam has the same God as Christians and Jews.  Absolutely not so.  And if you do not believe it because the Bible says so, at least believe it because the people who murder, rape and kill in Allah’s name do not do that using God’s name. They are two different spirits, two different theologies and two different patterns of life and death.

If you want a free booklet about Islam call 1-800-759-0700, the 700 Club. It can be read in about 20 minutes and describes the origins of Islam and why it is so sex and violence oriented.

I’ve already reblogged this once, but a reader named Jafon has a long, informative comment about Judaism which is worth your reading.

  2. One of the most important Bible passages is Genesis 12:3 where God says those who bless Israel will be blessed; those who curse Israel will be cursed. The government of the USA has hardly been a blessing to Israel of late. We can see why Islam has had such a hard time as a result of its persistent attacks against the land.
