New View of the Rapture and “Left Behind”

This makes sense to me.

If Jesus went to all that trouble to die on the cross for the human race and the earth as well, why would He leave it in enemy hands? and take the believers to heaven when it is easier to take the wicked and leave His earth to His people?

What if we have the Rapture theory backwards?
