2020 is the Year of the Entrepreneur.
Entrepreneur. The word comes from two words, entre, meaning ‘before’ and ‘aprendre,’ the root of the word apprehend, meaning to seize or grasp. That word Paul uses in the Bible correctly meaning to take hold of something. The entrepreneur takes hold of something long before others do, and acts upon it. He or she invests time, energy, and money into something the future holds for himself and others.
Paul says Yahweh apprehends us; He sees our future value in the plans He has for us. We in turn need to apprehend Him and those plans so we can work together. Out of this comes the Kingdom of Yahweh.
When we see the words “lay a hold of” in the Bible we are looking at the word apprehend; the entrepreneur grasps the purposes of Yahweh. And Yahweh also grasps us as his foot soldiers on earth.
The Kingdom of Yahweh is Our Goal
The Church is not the be-all and end-all for Yahweh. It is the Kingdom, not the church that is the goal. Yahshua spoke to His followers right before he departed earth to “make disciples of the kingdom” not Believers in the Church. Right now, Christians are struggling to hold on to the church, bemoaning the loss of attendance (now down to about 26% of the total number of believers), and the Church Age is over.
Yahweh wants to bring in His kingdom which is a system of people and project management quite a bit different from the church. The church is run my men (humans) but the Kingdom is run by the Holy Spirit. Yahweh will be working with obedient individuals all under the same head, rather than churches where headship is in one person or a group of leaders. No denomination rules here, no external by-laws or constitution. Only the Word of Yahweh.
Yahweh can do this now as even poor people have a phone, hence access to the second heaven electronically where the messages from the Spirit of Yahweh can reach us without human interference. This is why internet censorship is so serious. The devil is in charge of the second heaven and doing all he can to prevent the dispersal of the messages of Yahweh.
I doubt this kingdom group will be very large. It takes faith-filled, fearless people to launch out without the accouterments of modern life, a building, a parking lot, a piano. And men seek applause; none here.
Jeremiah 29:11 I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. (from The Message, translation of the Bible for moderns.)
